Dr. Charlotte McCann, DClinPsy

I am passionate about supporting people during the perinatal period as it can be an incredibly joyful yet often very challenging and vulnerable time. I have two small children of my own, and so have lived experience of both the highs and lows of parenthood, as well as the huge shifts and transitions in our lives and identities that can evolve during this time and beyond.

I prioritise the therapeutic relationship, ensuring you feel truly heard and understood, as this is one of the most important ingredients in therapy to support you to make meaningful change. I work integratively, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models to individually tailor therapy to best meet your needs.

I am collaborative in how I work. Whilst I have therapeutic tools and knowledge to share, I acknowledge you are the expert in your experience and encourage you to take an active role in shaping how therapy works best for you.

Book an appointment

Scheduling an appointment with us is simple and straightforward. You can book online by contacting us directly to find a time that works for you.

Initial assessment

During your first session, we will discuss your difficulties, strengths and hopes for therapy. We'll then begin to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to you.

Therapy

We provide short-term and long-term therapy according to your needs. Sessions are typically 50 minutes on a weekly basis, with regular reviews to help us adjust the treatment plan as needed.

We offer continued support for any challenges you may face in your parenthood journey.
